goArid is operated by Arid, LLC, registered in Delaware, United States. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information you provide when using our platform at goarid.com.

We collect the following personal data when you make a booking or enquiry:

Identity data: First name, last name, date of birth.

Contact data: Email address, phone number.

Billing data: Billing address, country of residence.

Booking data: Rental dates, pickup/return locations, vehicle preferences, and selected add-ons.

Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or full payment details on our servers.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referral source — collected via cookies and Google Analytics.

We use your personal data to process and manage your vehicle rental booking, communicate booking confirmations, updates, and payment receipts, and forward relevant booking details to the rental company providing your vehicle.

We also use your data to comply with legal obligations including financial record-keeping, to improve our platform through anonymised usage analytics, and to send service-related communications. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Our legal basis for processing is contract performance (to fulfil your booking), legal obligation, and legitimate interest (platform improvement via analytics).

We share your personal data only where necessary:

Rental companies: Your booking details (name, contact, dates, vehicle) are shared with the rental company that provides your vehicle.

Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe operates under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance.

Google Analytics / GTM: Anonymised, aggregated usage data for platform analytics. No personally identifiable information is passed.

Vercel / Supabase: Our infrastructure providers process data as part of hosting and database services, under appropriate data processing agreements.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your currency preference across sessions, maintain your login session (dashboard users only), and analyse platform usage via Google Analytics.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect currency preferences and certain site features. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising.

We retain your personal and booking data for 7 years from the date of your booking to comply with financial and legal record-keeping requirements. After this period, your data is securely deleted.

You may request earlier deletion where no legal obligation requires us to retain it.

Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations), restrict or object to processing, and request data portability.

Continued use of goarid.com after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify users via email where possible.
