Referral Partner Terms
Version 2026-08-05
About this program
These are the terms of the goArid referral partner program. They apply between you — the partner — and goArid (Arid, LLC). By taking part in the program you agree to them.
The program is currently in an Early Adopter phase: participation is by invitation only. We may introduce eligibility criteria later, and will give you notice if we do.
How referrals work
We give you one or more personal referral links or codes (for example goarid.com/go/your-code). When a customer follows your link and then requests a vehicle through goArid, that request is attributed to you.
Attribution is last-click with a 30-day window: the customer’s request must reach us within 30 days of their last click on your link. If the customer followed links from more than one partner, the most recent click wins.
goArid’s own media counts as a click too: if the customer’s most recent click is on one of our own flyers, posters, or ads, any pending referral claim is cleared — the same way another partner’s more recent click would replace yours.
One exception, stated plainly: a customer who already has an open request or offer with us from the last 30 days stays attributed to that existing relationship. A referral cannot claim a customer we are already serving.
The referral fee
You earn a flat fee of N$1,000 for each referred and confirmed booking. The amount includes VAT and all other taxes. N$1,000 is the published floor for the program: an individual partner may be offered more, never less.
One booking earns one fee, regardless of how many clicks or requests led to it.
When the fee is paid
A fee becomes payable only once the customer actually collects the vehicle. We then pay it in full in the monthly payout run following the month of collection.
A booking cancelled before collection — by the customer, the operator, or goArid — earns no fee. Because nothing is paid out before collection, we never need to claw money back from you: figures you see in the partner portal before collection are informational, not money owed.
Your obligations
When you promote or recommend goArid — online, in print, or in person — you must disclose that you have a commercial relationship with us. In German-speaking markets in particular, an undisclosed paid recommendation can be unlawful; a simple note such as “we may receive a fee for referrals” is enough.
Referrals must come from genuine customer interest. If we find fees earned through misuse — for example fake requests or self-referrals — we may withhold those fees, offset them against future payouts, revoke your codes, or end your participation.
Figures you see in the partner portal can relate to identifiable travellers. Treat them as confidential and do not share them.
Changes and termination
goArid may revoke a referral code, change the fee, change these terms, or terminate the program, with reasonable written notice (email counts). A revoked code stops attributing from the moment of revocation — including for a customer who clicked your link before the revocation but only sends their request after it.
Fees that are already payable when a change or termination takes effect are honoured and paid as described above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
Rules that apply mandatorily where you operate or promote — for example disclosure duties — are not affected by this choice of law.
These terms are written and agreed in English; the English version is the binding one.
Questions?
If anything here is unclear, ask us before you start referring — we would rather explain a clause than surprise a partner.
