Mufasa Car Hire

Nothing but the best. It's been well over 6 months now since we rented our car with Mufasa, but I just had to finally write a review. This was the most crucial decision of our entire trip and we couldn't have been happier with it. From the first email to dropping the amazing Toyota Hilux off after what had been an incredible drive through Namibia, this was absolutely perfect. We can't recommend Anja and her lovely team enough and if we ever come back to Namibia, we will 100 % rent one of their cars again.

We truly enjoyed renting with Mufasa ! We went on a six weeks trip in Namibia & Botswana and when contacting several rental companies Mufasa were the only one to take the length of our trip in consideration when giving us a cost estimate. So if you're planning a long stay don't look any further ! The car, a Toyota Hilux, was in excellent condition. Without going as far as off road driving, it got us through some self drives we couldn't have done without a 4WD. The tent was convenient and comfortable, and quite astonishingly, perfectly waterproof ! We slept peacefully under downpours which gave sleepless nights to "ground" campers... The quality of the tires deserves a quote. I would never have believed it possible to go through such a trip without a flat tire, I stand corrected ! Praises don't stop at the materialistic aspects. The staff has been accessible and helpful throughout our whole trip. After a hiccup with our fridge they managed to get it changed in no time... on a Sunday ! If we ever come back to Namibia we won't hesitate to rent one of their cars again.

We had a great experience with Mufasa car rental and would highly recommend them. We hired their 2025 Toyota Hilux 4x4 with two roof tents, and camping equipment. On collection we were given a thorough briefing about the car, road safety and use of equipment provided. We had everything we needed and more for our 2-week trip. We were especially impressed with the tyre quality. They were far better than those we saw on other rental cars out there.
