Crossroads Car Hire

We had a great experience using Crossroads 4x4! They are a smaller company amidst a growing camper truck hire industry (e.g. Namibia2Go and more) in Namibia- their excellent customer service reflects that! From our initial planning, logistics, pick-up, and drop-off CR 4x4 was there to reply emails, confirm logistics, and ask questions when needed. At the start of the trip, a power extension cord to plug in the fridge to external power at campsites was not working- CR 4x4 drove to one of our campsites near Swakopmund to swap it out for us. The Hilux was hired was spotless and in pristine condition- we couldn't have been more impressed. Having two built-in fuel tanks was ideal. We toured Namibia for 13 days and didn't have a single issue with the truck. Big thanks to everyone at Crossroads 4x4!

Crossroads was amazing, from airport pick up, to familiarizing us with our Hilux and all our camping gear, to support while on the road all over Namibia and finally to our drop off. Everything we needed was included and well thought out. Great personal service by Amore and Jason. Our truck delivered and no flats! Even got us through a sandstorm. WE could not have been happier.

I don’t often write reviews but felt compelled to about Crossroads. When planning our Namibia trip, there were lots of companies based in Windhoek but I was struggling to find a rental company that offered pick up in Walvis Bay and drop off in Windhoek - I came across Crossroads and we were so glad we went with them. Thorough handover of the vehicle when we arrived and help answering questions. They even arranged to borrow a local SIM card at no extra charge. The 4x4 was in great condition and had everything we needed for a comfortable week camping. Did around 2500km driving around Namibia and no issues at all. Equally seamless and friendly handover of the car back in Windhoek. Would recommend and will definitely use again if we return to Namibia.
