Crossroads Car Hire

We had a great experience using Crossroads 4x4! They are a smaller company amidst a growing camper truck hire industry (e.g. Namibia2Go and more) in Namibia- their excellent customer service reflects that! From our initial planning, logistics, pick-up, and drop-off CR 4x4 was there to reply emails, confirm logistics, and ask questions when needed. At the start of the trip, a power extension cord to plug in the fridge to external power at campsites was not working- CR 4x4 drove to one of our campsites near Swakopmund to swap it out for us. The Hilux was hired was spotless and in pristine condition- we couldn't have been more impressed. Having two built-in fuel tanks was ideal. We toured Namibia for 13 days and didn't have a single issue with the truck. Big thanks to everyone at Crossroads 4x4!

Crossroads was amazing, from airport pick up, to familiarizing us with our Hilux and all our camping gear, to support while on the road all over Namibia and finally to our drop off. Everything we needed was included and well thought out. Great personal service by Amore and Jason. Our truck delivered and no flats! Even got us through a sandstorm. WE could not have been happier.

For our Namibia adventure we hired a Toyota Hilux 4x4 with long range fuel tank from Crossroads Car Hire (CCH). Excellent communication and booking was easy. Arrived from UK at WIndhoek and met at airport by CCH for vehicle handover - all was as expected and CCH also included a MTC phone SIM card. Over the next 10 days we travelled on to Etosha - Rundu - Caprivi Strip and finally Kasane (Botswana) where we were again met as agreed by CCH to hand vehicle back. The Toyota had under 100K, new tyres and performed excellently. Happy to recommend.
